How to Motivate People to Share?

You can make people share and comment, rather — engage, by making their contribution a source of pride. More importantly, you can make the exact idea engage able or boring just by the way you put it out to the reader.

There is a particular way in which many corporations want their Social Media to be managed. It involves this completely self centered content, the “buy from us” content, always putting out what features they provide, in short : the sell pitch. It cannot create engagement. Only their team, or their near or dear ones share it under social pressure. They cannot expect organic shares, unless the viewer likes the content.

Imagine someone posting a question like “How can I hookup for a quickie?”

At first glance, I’ll make him/her look at my story here, but seriously you’ll not go out of your everyday coffee to write an answer for that person, unless you fancy yourself an artist with this sort of thing.

Now if I ask something like “What is the fastest when you converted a lead? If you know what I mean? What is the fastest you have ever had hooked up with someone after meeting them?”

Now this is something which feels like a challenge. The reader gets to answer this question by imagining stuff they always wanted to do but couldn’t. It makes the reader think of a story in which…
